Avoid known bad debtors.

When a member of debtorchecker adds a bad debtor to the database, this information is publicly available to all our members. Members can search the database as many times as they like free of charge. You don't have to inform the customer you are checking that you are performing the search as the searches are not recorded and do not affect their credit rating like other credit checks do. This means you can check out all of your new and even prospective customers to see if they have bad debts with other businesses. If you find they do have bad debts you can ask for payment up front and as debtorchecker recommends, refuse to deal with that customer until they have paid their debts in full. As more and more businesses become members of debtorchecker there will be fewer and fewer bad debtors who will feel they can get away with not paying hardworking businesses.
